SCORPILISK - The Stingfish Vampire

CLASS: VAMPIRIC

A vampiric evolution of Lionfish or the related Stonefish and Scorpionfish. Brilliantly patterned in the full color spectrum with brilliant blue light organs along its arm-fins, the Scorpilisk is as beautiful as it is toxic. A massive poison gland near its heart delivers venom through an intricate network of veins to every barb, claw and needle on its body. A single sting can cause a coma that lasts for days, while a greater dose can kill almost instantly.

A scorpilisk can darken to pitch black as a crude form of camouflage, mimicking a lump of wood or stone in darkened places. It has a coincidentally lion-like gait, and pounces on prey in a similar fashion.
