OHAKADAMON

Well, I did review Burpmon the yesterday, so what the heck! Ohakadamon is literally just the tombstone left behind when a digimon dies in certain virtual pets, and has changed design from a generic headstone, to a cross, to a desktop computer before it was retired.

It doesn't do anything, it can't digivolve, it can't attack, it can't come back to life, and might not even be sentient at all, though it does shake a little, every few seconds. For all intents and purposes, it's an inanimate object, and it really only exists as a visual representation of the fact that your virtual pet croaked, but it does have a digimon style name and I for one LOVE the implications of that; that a digimon may permanently "die," but it still doesn't stop qualifying as a digimon. It's just become a sort of "inert" digimon, a collection of data that no longer manifests as a living creature but continues to exist as a sort of slumbering archival quasi-entity.

For that alone, Ohakadamon gets a 4/5.
