DARCMON, HIPPOGRIFFOMON AND MURMUKUSMON

DARCMON

Featured only in a Digimon Frontier movie, "Darcmon" is supposedly a fairly weak, lower-ranking angel digimon who nonetheless leads human digimon in their war against beast digimon. Nothing else I can really say; the role could have just as easily and more memorably been given to an Angewomon.

RATING:

HIPPOGRIFFOMON

As it turns out, Darcmon can slide-evolve into this Hippogriff form, and has been using that to lead to the beast digimon, playing both sides and continuing the senseless war! But why!? And why is this design so boring, too!? Old-school digimon would have put some battle scars and mutated flesh on this design.

RATING:

MURMUKUSMON

The true form of this digimon, of course, turns out to be another Demon Lord. Not nearly as interesting as most others we've seen, but not bad. His goal is actually to revive the destructive bird, Ornismon, by gathering the code of enough fallen digimon, hence the war. He's clever enough to put on a pretty convincing act in his alternate forms, even crying over the dead when he's Darcmon.

The design is alright, I suppose. Nothing amazing, but the outfit with various bird heads integrated into it is cool I guess.
