DEVA DIGIMON: MAKURAMON
The twelve deva digimon are a collection of perfect-level zodiac animals who all serve, and can evolve into, one of the four "sovereign" digimon.
Monkey Deva and servant of Baihumon. This one is kind of interesting for the fact that it's a Perfect Level, puppet-like monkey digimon but has nothing whatsoever to do with Etemon or even looks like it came from the same franchise. Its creepy lack of facial expression is discussed as a defining characteristic in its official bio, though the anime doesn't really stick to that and often makes it obvious what Makuramon is feeling.
Makuramon has the power to trap things in an orb it can generate, and prefers to imprison opponents rather than destroy them, which is kind of a lot scarier for a person-sized, staring monkey to do than straight up killing you.RATING:
