Today's very lonely adult digimon is a big, spiky tortoise, and while it's not the only turtle-like digimon, it looks entirely unlike the style of any other digital testudines that would crop up over subsequent years. Having first appeared as a V-pet evolution of Tentomon, Tortamon has been stranded in nonsense evolutionary lines since the very beginning, but we can love him anyway.
