Ten Ton Monster

This was an interesting off-brand "Choose Your Own Adventure" type of book with several possible "missions", one of which pit you against the giant "Quaylapse" on the cover, who's venom causes victims to age backwards and vanish within minutes. There are few illustrations of the monster inside the book, but I also felt like scanning three interesting pages unrelated to the Quaylapse:

-A group of aliens your character encounters in the prisons of a savage third-world country (which still runs on 20th century technology)

-Aforementioned aliens helping out in your quest to destroy a dangerous power source.

-Believe it or not, seeing this page was the first time I ever learned what a leech really looked like.
