Though physically the frailest of the Z mecha, the Harvester's balance between destructive and cognitive power easily rivals the threat level of the Mangler, attacking the weakest point of its target with surgical precision. Its diamond-hard cutters can tear through most metals with ease, and its hypodermic stinger packs a fast-acting neurotoxin. For added defense, it can vent a high volume of thick, black fog.

   Though lethal in combat, the primary function of the Harvester is to gather materials for "spawning pits" - colonies of microscopic contructs whose only function is to replicate Z-series biomecha. Originally intended for the battlefield, this capacity for reproduction has resulted in a number of "feral" Biomechanoid colonies.
