This graceful floating monster carries some of the world's most potent venom in its fangs, needles and tail-sting. It feeds like a spider, liquefying prey through its hollow teeth and sucking it dry.

   A Wervelkolom's body is held together by an invisible webbing of energy that continues to function regardless of physical injury. Even with sections of the body removed, remaining parts maintain their position and behave as though the creature were still whole. Over time, it will regenerate lost bone.
