Possibly descended from leeches, Vamprey are the most common aquatic vampire and can even be found away from water in moist caves or forests. Their dozens of suckers allow them to climb any surface, and they can glide several yards by stretching into a discoid shape. They secrete a powerful numbing toxin over their entire bodies, making them impossible to feel even during feeding. They are attracted to light sources at night but abhor fire.
