Actually a black, stunted mollusk with vestigial tentacles, the Smogulus breeds in pits of noxious chemical run-off and subsists on a diet of oil, sludge, pesticide, mercury, gasoline and especially metal. It works metallic elements into a resin from which it expertly crafts its pipe-like outer body, identical to the body that was constructed for the original Smogulus in a laboratory many generations ago. When agitated, it spews a thick cloud of ash, sulphur and carbon monoxide. Appropriately enough, this creature of pollution and waste is quite fond of television.
