With their oafish appearance, incessant guffawing and seemingly delayed reflexes, these monsters give an impression of stupidity that belies uncanny marksmanship with their natural weaponry; multiple barbed, acid-secreting tongues are concealed within their tubular throats, and uncoil up to a hundred feet when fired at distant prey. They prefer to hunt from the cover of mud or dirty water, and fire on small birds or large insects that fly overhead.
