SCREAMPIE - The Confectionary Joker

CLASS: JOKER

This primitive, fungoid Joker is usually retracted completely beneath its crusty shell, expanding its fluffy, amorphous body when a suitable host is attracted to its sweet aroma. If not consumed willingly, it will attempt to force its tissues into the victim's digestive tract, where tiny spores germinate into miniature Screampies and eventually emerge from the bowels. It is not known how deeply the Screampie is related to other Jokers, as it employs them as hosts just as readily. It has been proposed that the creatures are an independently evolved parasite assimilated and transformed by Joker biology.
