The fusion of a human with a dung beetle. This strange creature collects the brains of the dead in a symbiotic living mass that generates great psychic power, and eventually loses its own brain tissue as it becomes fully dependent on its sentient ball. The insectoid may even die if separated from its orb for too long, but a new body will hatch from the sphere in only days.
