This hopping, squeaking Botanical immobilizes prey with a painful neurotoxin from its fine, fragile stinging hairs before feeding. Anchoring in flesh with its serrated fangs, it worms its tongue deep into the body and feasts upon blood, turning its ghostly white, petal like frills a deep crimson.
Sickeningly toxic to most other creatures, the partially digested blood from a Sanguinettle's gut has an indescribably pleasurable but neurologically damaging narcotic effect upon vampires. Ruthless monster trainers and even older, more intelligent Sanguinettle themselves may take advantage of these properties to effectively enslave even a vastly more powerful vampiric monster.
