SANDSNEAK

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

Fusion of a human with an antlion. This slow-moving predator uses psychic force to generate a swirling gravitational pull around its body, pulling sand and soil into a blinding vortex. Nozzles on its shell add to this "sandstorm" with a spray of razor-sharp crystalline grit; waste matter from the bony tissues of past prey.

The sandsneak feeds in a spiderlike fashion through its hollow fangs, and can "shoot out" its neck up to twice its body length. Despite its bulk, it is mostly hollow and rather lightweight. Due to the arrangement of its limbs, it can walk only sideways.
