PTERACIDE - The Acid Rain

CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

This small, clucking mutant usually gallops along the ground, taking flight only to rain its dangerously acidic waste upon potential prey. Once conditions are safe enough, it lands upon the puddles of dissolved tissue and sucks them back into its torso vents for processing.

Pteracide typically aim for the face if they intend to disable or kill, though they prefer to make off with smaller portions of tissue, especially from extremely large, slow moving monsters before they can retaliate. They are bolder in flocks, sometimes laying waste to entire small communities and colonizing the half-dissolved ruins.
