POLKA DOTTED PANSYFACE

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

Fusion of a human with a ladybird beetle (also known as a "ladybug"). Curiously the largest of all insectoids - easily twice the size of a Mandibite - the Spotted Pansyface, also called the Posyhopper or Painted Ladyreaver, is also known as the most violent. It relishes fear and thirsts for destruction, smashing all things smashable and playing cruel cat-and-mouse games with doomed prey. In addition to its great physical strength, axe-like claws and rows of steely teeth, it can spew searing-hot stomach juice from its throat with the force of a firehose, and its thunderous roar can shake the ground around it.

A pansyface is drably colored except for the brilliant red, black-dotted shell on its thorax. It buzzes its tiny, useless wings when content, a behavior similar to purring.
