MOTHSTROUS

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

Fusion between human and moth. With its soft, downy coating, delicate curves and dark, sparkling eyes, the Mothstrous is regarded by many as one of the most repulsive and unsettling Arthropoidal monsters, shunned by more conventionally attractive hybrids like the Blighterfly and Pestilouse. Nonetheless, the creature is well armed with its hidden layer of stinging hairs, disorienting sonar wail and intoxicating pheromones. It may also take strategic advantage of its own reputation, targeting those who suffer acute phobias towards its kind. Though too heavy to fly properly, its light frame allows it to leap and glide with surprising grace for its misshapen proportions.

Depending on their base insects, Mothstrous may or may not possess functional mouthparts, relying on prosthetics or biological symbiotes to nourish them intravenously.
