Engineered by aquatic vampires, the brutal Makkoron combines human and shark into the perfect amphibious tracker and retriever, tearing its way through any obstacles with its bare claws to capture whatever prey its master has marked. Their skin is much rougher than that of a natural shark, with elongated microbarbs arranged in velcro-like patterns to rip open softer flesh at the slightest touch. Seaweed and other detritus collects on their bodies, adding camouflage to their already-devious hunting strategies.

At the sight of the full moon, a Makkoron cannot help but emit a bubbling, gurgling howl.
