HOLLOWILE - The Goblin Gourd

CLASS: BOTANICAL

Developed as a form of monstrous produce that can defend itself from pests, the Hollowile's rubbery, pumpkin-like head houses a flavorful, nutritious brain and entrails as well as sweet, stringy pulp that makes a popular pie filling. The head grows continuously until harvested, sometimes becoming too heavy for the creature to lift. Once removed, it begins to regenerate almost immediately.

Hollowile generate a unique subatomic vibration that constantly draws water molecules from the monster's surroundings. It can even intensify this field to dangerous levels, dehydrating nearby plants and animals to the brink of death. As vegetation naturally turns brown and brittle in its wake, it is often thought of as a symbol of autumn.
