The genetic fusion of a human with an earwig. This maniacal, cackling arthropoid delights in causing fear and confusion, stalking its victims unseen, laying elaborate traps and distorting its voice to mimic children, animals or more dangerous monsters. It is often the subject of exaggerated myth, mistakenly believed to be parasitic, venomous or even possessed of impossible, supernatural qualities. Though not quite so formidable, Hellwig are fast, stealthy and extremely clever.
Hellwig can move just as easily backwards, sideways, on their bellies or their backs. They often run tail-first to better engage prey with their powerful, sharp forceps.
