Appearing to the eyes of its intended victims as a small, white-furred cat, only ultraviolet light can expose its true nature. With telekinetic power, it holds a victim in place and forces its way into an orifice to nestle in the stomach or intestine. Hosts have no memory of the attack, but gradually bend to the Heartlicker's will as it feeds on their blood and nutrients. The parasite seizes full control only days before the host dies, and utilizes the hijacked body to line up its next target. When not squirming through a digestive tract, it thinks and behaves like a domestic feline, and is a very inquisitive creature.
