GRINDROME - The Chattering Clown

CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

These colorful, dung-eating mutants were originally created to serve as clowns and crewmen in a traveling circus, and their use in entertainment has continued to this day. Grindrome love nothing more than the sound of laughter, and when their slapstick antics fail to amuse, a squeeze of their sonic horn-hand can induce painful hysterics in their audience whether willing or not.

Glands along a Grindrome's tongue produce a highly flammable, buoyant purple gas that can be used to inflate balloons or blow dazzling fireballs and incidentally gives the creature a ridiculously squeaky voice.

If its incredibly tough brainstem is severed, a Grindrome deflates noisily but will survive to restore itself in time.
