Often considered the archetypical joker, Festooge are slightly larger than Septiclown and only slightly less abundant, infesting the pink, membranous "hives" from which all joker strains were first spawned. They are endlessly squirming and deforming with an octopus-like fluidity, and can stretch many times their natural length. Their rubbery, adhesive hands can whip out at prey from a remarkable distance, and deliver a paralyzing shock from their electrical suckers.

   Festooge are constantly probing their surroundings with often suicidal curiosity; few things captivate them quite like a dark, unexplored crevasse, even one lined with painfully obvious fangs.
