This vampire appears peaceful enough as it drifts silently and gracefully in the moonlight, but it only awaits the return of its flying, leech-like spawn, which it generates in great numbers to gather blood from the surrounding land. When particularly hungry it will grip a treetop or reef with its bony tail and sleep while the spawn gather nourishment.

On land, the Equinoct is accompanied by a beautiful reed-like melody as wind blows through its ghostly white skeleton.
