Rarest of the zombie spawn and easily the most powerful, the Ectozyme demonstrates chaotic, ever-shifting biology and can even rival the Grimgug in size by absorbing any organism it comes into contact with. Its only consistent features are a massive, child-like head and one or more gigantic "udders," from which it leaks a milky pus that can induce random, spontaneous mutation in other organisms. Past prey is often mimicked by its semifluid flesh and may even exhibit remnants of its original consciousness, but the confused imitation will find itself almost instantly re-consumed and converted to some other, wholly random appendage.

   Ectozyme produce a constant cacophany of organic sounds as their bodies churn, bubble, squirt, squelch, pulsate, pucker and expel various gases. Even by the standards of Zombie spawn, they lack any semblance of sanity.
