Created from the brain tissue of a powerful psionicist, the Cynapse is little more than raw mental energy anchored to a simple ectoplasmic body. It can see the thoughts of other creatures but is nearly blind to physical matter, and must navigate the material world by the visual data in nearby brains. It feeds on electricity through its segmented appendage, which can also deliver a deadly shock to creatures that resist its bizarre mental powers.

When deprived of sustenance, the Cynapse stands upright on its electrical arm and rotates slowly like a radar dish, catching stray particles of energy.
