Originally created to aid in the rituals of an insanity cult, the Crepusculent's wholly alien mentality can make it difficult to train as a minion but it is generally only created for its highly prized "brain worms". Literally the creature's brain, these multi-colored, edible "worms" multiply constantly within its hollow body but wriggle free and die in a matter of seconds. When consumed live, they have intense hallucinogenic effects accompanied by psychic power greater than that of any natural psionicist. Both effects are temporary, but the user may be left with amnesia that persists for weeks. The Crepusculent's surface resembles bone, but glows a silvery blue in the dark. It floats only backwards, and clicks its jaw rhythmically.
