DIOPSIDA SAPIENS

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

Similar in behavior and physical capability to common Dipteroid fusions such as the Blobotle, though its gastric acid is not nearly as dangerous. Unfortunately, artificial sensory augmentation may be necessary to compensate for its poor depth perception.

BASE ORGANISM: Stalk-eyed flies are tropical insects distinguished by eyes and antennae on the ends of elongated stalks. Females favor exceptional stalk length, and males may spar by comparing head width. Decaying vegetation comprises most of their diet.
