DERMATOPHAGA SAPIENS

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

An extremely tiny, cautious and sluggish Acaroid, feeding on dry detritus in dark, quiet indoor environments. Some monsters are unusually allergic to its saliva. An improperly calibrated fuse-o-pod can produce these monsters by miscalculation, zeroing in on mites that have hitch-hiked in on the hominid sample.

BASE ORGANISM: Dust mites are ubiquitous microscopic arachnids found in staggeringly high densities in most artificial dwellings and especially in bedding, feeding on shed skin cells and other organic matter.
