" The hooligans: hungry mike "

The sky wasn't always dark. I remember when I was a little kid, the sun would shine in the sky like a burning hot penny. The skies were a glorious blue, and the stars were some of the greatest wonders. But ever since the event, we've been trapped in darkness. It started when NASA announced that an extremely large object was on course to our solar system, they said something like it messed with their equipment so they didn't know what it was, but they told everyone that it was much larger than the largest documented star. Needless to say, a lot of people panicked. Riots broke out, orgies were held, everyone was going down on their bucket list. Depending on where you went, society turned into either hedonistic utopias, or mungy cities of violence and evil. It all lasted about a week before some kid on the street said it. It sent everyone into shock, they all just stopped and stared for the longest time. Some people just up and laid down on the streets and never got up. No matter where you went it was all the same. For the few remaining days, no one moved. Not at all. We all just sat and stared at that thing looming in the sky. I'll never forget the words that started it.
