Bogleech.com"s 2015 Horror Write-off:

" Repulsion "

I first began to notice it when the computer became increasingly difficult to use. The mouse would not cooperate and every word I typed looked as if I'd mashed the keys with my palm. It didn't take long for it to become completely unusable, as did every device that needed fine motor skills to operate. Screaming for help did not seem to garner a response. I'm not sure what help another person might have been, anyways.

The levitation was, at least, fun for a little bit. It was something to distract myself with and my panic-stricken mind grasped tightly to it, reminding me that I had always wanted to fly. I danced around the room as the furniture politely made way for me. A ballet the likes of which no one had ever seen, or ever would.

It wouldn't last. Eventually, all I could do was hang, suspended directly in the middle of my room. Everything else was pressed up against the wall, as if terrified of me. My clothes had torn and cut the same retreat. I curled into a ball, as it become harder to move, to think, to breathe. The walls groaned. In a single, dizzying moment, a cacophony sounded as the roof blew outwards, expelling me into the air. Up and up, I rose, and began to black out. Through blurred vision I could just barely make out figures in the distance. I could only assume they were beginning the same journey I was.
